The Corona pandemic has triggered many students to review their own requirements and current coverage of their health insurance. Many students want to ensure that they take care of the relevant eventualities during their stay in Germany. This entails planning how to care for vaccinations against COVID-19.
Although the vaccination in vaccination centres is currently still free of charge for everyone with German health insurance or a German residence permit, in the future you will need health insurance for the vaccination at your GP, which also covers the costs for vaccinations.
More information can be found in our Blog article “All you need to know about the COVID-19 vaccination in Germany”.
